1. Information We Collect

a) Email Address

When you subscribe to our newsletter, use the Sync feature, or submit the contact form, your email address is stored in our Supabase-hosted leads table.

b) AI Tool Inputs

Text you enter into our AI tools is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. We do not store your prompts or the generated outputs on our servers. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data sent through their API.

c) Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Umami. This includes page views, referral sources, device type, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is collected by our analytics providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Send the Weekly Creator Toolkit newsletter and relevant product updates.
• Process AI tool requests via the Anthropic Claude API and return results to you in real time.
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve our tools and content.
• Respond to support or contact-form inquiries.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data only with the following service providers:

• Supabase — database hosting for leads and content.
• Anthropic Claude API — processes AI tool inputs; prompts are sent transiently and not stored by us.
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous site analytics.
• Umami — privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
• Vercel — hosting, edge functions, and deployment infrastructure.

4. Cookies & Tracking

GA4 may set first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. Umami is cookieless by default. You may manage your cookie preferences through our cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit, or by adjusting your browser settings. You can also opt out of GA4 by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Retention

• Lead data (email addresses): retained for up to 12 months from collection, then deleted unless you actively re-subscribe.
• Analytics data: retained for up to 14 months in GA4 (Google default) and per Umami's configured retention period.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Object — object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes, including direct marketing.

7. Your Rights Under CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights:

• Right to Know — request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information.
• Right to Opt-Out — opt out of the sale of personal information. Note: we do not sell personal information.

To submit a CCPA request, email privacy@freesocialkit.ai. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

FreeSocialKit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us at privacy@freesocialkit.ai.

9. Affiliate Links

Some tool links in our directory are affiliate links. Clicking these links and making a purchase may earn us a commission at no additional cost to you. This revenue helps us keep all tools free.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database hosting via Supabase, and access controls to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
